Bank Holiday Fix

Happy Tuesday.
So that’s another Bank Holiday out of the way, how are you feeling today?
A little rough around the edges due to too much booze and maybe a slice or two pieces of cake.
Don’t worry, I know how that can feel.
Been there, done that.
But not to worry. I’m here with 5 quick tips to rescue your week so that you on’t think fug it and carry on eating junk this week thinking all is lost.
If you had too much alcohol over the weekend you may have a bit of a headache. If so get plenty of water into the system to rehydrate your body and get rid of that pounding in your head.
Eat plenty of greens. Green vegetables are full of vitamins and minerals that you liver will be crying out for to process and eliminate the alcohol from your blood stream. Try a green smoothie with spinach, kale, mango, banana and coconut water.
Eat some protein containing foods such as nuts, seeds, eggs, fish and organic meats. The protein will help keep you feeling fuller so that you don’t get those cravings often associated with a night out on the town.
Take a nice long soak in a warm bath containing Epsom Salts. Epsom Salts are full of magnesium and you body uses tons of magnesium to detoxify alcohol. It also helps to ease the headache as well as relaxing your muscles. 20 minutes should do it.
Put it behind you. Yep, you had a night out on the alcohol. That was yesterday. Today is a new day so get back on your healthy eating programme and you’ll be heading towards your goals with hardly noticing the effects of the weekend.
